The Willow is a six-story apartment building to be constructed along Willow Street at 43rd Street, adjacent to the Foundry Apartments in the city’s Lawrenceville district. The building will feature five floors of wood frame construction over a noncombustible masonry base. The ground level includes two levels of parking, as well as additional at-grade parking at the rear of the property.

The ground floor will offer lobby access to the building, bicycle parking, and various amenity spaces, including a fitness center, yoga studio, and coworking spaces. Special attention will be given to creating a welcoming streetscape around the building's perimeter.

The five residential floors will house studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, totaling 89 apartments within 116,500 square feet of space. The parking podium will also include an in-ground swimming pool.

The building’s exterior will be clad in European-style terracotta tiles, a feature that, while common in European cities, is unique in the Pittsburgh area. The sixth level of the building will be covered in slate siding. Each unit will have a projected balcony with contrasting rails and custom mesh railing infills, and will feature large, over-scaled windows with terrace door access to the balconies.
