Pittsburgh Brewing Company acquired the historic Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) factory in Creighton, PA, combining two iconic Pittsburgh companies along the Allegheny River. The expansive site is being transformed into a vibrant campus featuring a state-of-the-art brewery, a distillery, a restaurant, a museum on beer and local history, a marina, a music venue, a beer garden, and walking and biking trails.

The 1860s factory was meticulously restored with sandblasted walls and steel, sealed brick, painted steel, and updated windows and floors. It now serves as a stunning backdrop for the modern stainless steel brewing equipment producing Iron City Beer.

The old boiler building is being converted into Iron City Distilling, featuring a 20-foot copper still visible through a large storefront window. An adjacent outdoor stage, constructed from reclaimed steel columns and trusses, will host concerts for thousands, enhancing the site's role as a cultural hub while preserving local traditions.
