The Lofts is a six-story condominium development consisting of 25 units, situated in the vibrant Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. A key design objective was to ensure the building's massing harmonized with the local context, reflecting the character of the area while offering modern residential amenities.

To achieve this, the design team employed a combination of materials: brick veneer, natural metal standing seam cladding, and colored fiber cement panels. These materials not only break down the building's scale but also create a visual dialogue with the surrounding architecture, blending seamlessly with the neighborhood’s aesthetic.

The design includes stepped and inset terraces, providing each unit with unique and private exterior spaces. Large, energy-efficient windows are strategically placed to offer panoramic views of the city and the Allegheny River Valley, enhancing the living experience with natural light and stunning vistas. This thoughtful approach ensures The Lofts is both a contemporary and contextually sensitive addition to the Lawrenceville community.
