Situated in the Rockwell Park Development in North Point Breeze, Enson Market is a renovation of a historic 1920s brick manufacturing warehouse. Enson, a nationwide franchise specializing in Asian foods, has transformed the 36,500 square-foot space to include an outdoor plaza, a hot bar café, a bubble tea beverage station, an Asian grocery store, and a new restaurant.
Previously obscured by modern structures added over the years, the building’s first renovation phase involved removing these coverings and restoring the masonry façade, along with adding historic warehouse-style windows.
The second phase introduced a new parking lot and exterior plaza. The height difference from the main road is utilized effectively, with the plaza rising to the main level to create tiered seating. Landscaping and lighting enhance the outdoor environment, providing a welcoming amenity for both the grocery store and the development.
