Luna E.L. Fruensgaard MAA
Ms. Fruensgaard, a native Dane, earned an M.A. in Architecture from The Royal Academy of Architecture and Design in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012. She also earned a M.A. of Architecture, with focus in sustainable design, from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010.
During her education Ms. Fruensgaard has recieved numerous grants and scholarships, including The Fulbright Foundation, Carnegie Mellon University, Knud Hojgaards Foundation, and the Larsen & Nielsen Foundation.
Following graduation, Ms. Fruensgaard joined the firm of Vandkunsten in Copenhagen, one of the most highly regarded firms in Scandinavia and a leading force in the development of housing and urban planning for more than 30 years.
During her time at Vandkunsten Ms. Fruensgaard has participated in a great variety of projects with special emphasis on competitions and schematic design. She has experience in developing both student, single and multifamily housing, as well as master planning in a wide range of scales. Ms. Fruensgaard is proficiencient in the following areas: 3D rendering and visualisation, graphic design, Adobe Design Package, AutoCAD, and GIS.
Ms. Fruensgaard joined Indovina Associates Architects in 2015, and has since worked on a wide range of residential and projects as well as interior design.
