The Kids Kingdom exhibits encourage children to learn more about animals’ lives, their behavior, and the way animals view the world around them. Children can climb an enormous spider’s web, touch a kangaroo, or come nose to nose with a Pennsylvania white-tailed deer. A winding wooden walkway takes visitors past several small animal exhibits including porcupines, river otters, and beavers building a dam. The walkway climbs right up into a canopy of trees leading visitors to a suspended swinging bridge high above the ground and built like bridges found above in the rain forests of Asia.
The popular sea lion exhibit is designed to both greet visitors entering Kids Kingdom and to provide a final aquatic show as visitors leaving the area view their swimming antics from an underwater window.
