Melissa A. Simonetti
completed her professional degree in architecture from Cornell University in 2006. After, she continued her studies at Harvard University, where she earned an advanced degree in architecture from the Graduate School of Design.
Ms. Simonetti has extensive architectural experience in a diverse range of both national and international projects. She previously worked at several national design firms including Kohn Pederson Fox in New York, NY, Elkus Manfredi in Boston, MA, as well as Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in Pittsburgh, PA. At these firms, her experience ranged from mixed-use towers to a variety of institutional and commercial work.
A native Pittsburgher, Ms. Simonetti returned to Pittsburgh in 2015 where she has been an active member of the architectural community, as well as several regional volunteer organizations. With a passion for architecture, she has been directing her attention locally as she believes each building should have a sensitivity to the surroundings, embodying a sense of place.
